Example output. The tilisiirto block and barcode are generated on every invoice.

THE PART THAT MATTERS

Your customer can pay easily by scanning the Finnish pankkiviivakoodi or entering the IBAN manually.

In OP, Nordea, S-Pankki and other Finnish banking apps, scanning the barcode automatically fills in the IBAN, amount, reference number and due date. They simply confirm and pay.

No typing errors. No missing references. Easy payment matching.

Why most free tools cannot do this

It is a Finnish banking standard — 54 digits in a strict order, encoded a specific way. International invoice generators do not implement it, because it only works in one country. That country is the one you are invoicing in.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps, no account

01

Enter your details once

Business name, Y-tunnus, IBAN. Saved in your own browser, so the next invoice starts already filled in.

02

Add the customer and what you are billing for

Pick the VAT rate from a list that explains what each one covers. Totals and the reference number calculate themselves.

03

Download or share

Save the PDF, or send it straight to WhatsApp, Telegram or email from your phone.

INCLUDED

Everything a Finnish invoice needs

Reference number

Calculated from your invoice number with the correct check digit, so banks accept it.

All four VAT rates

25,5 %, 13,5 %, 10 % and 0 %, each labelled with what it actually covers.

Y-tunnus checking

Catches a mistyped business ID before it reaches your customer’s bookkeeper.

Not VAT registered?

A mode for anyone under the €20 000 threshold, with the correct wording printed.

Two languages

Read the form in English, send the invoice in Finnish. Or English, or both side by side.

Nothing uploaded

The PDF is built in your browser. Your customers, amounts and IBAN never reach us.

QUESTIONS
Is it really free?

Yes — unlimited invoices, no watermark, no account. We will later charge for things that cost money to run, like saving your invoice history across devices and sending invoices electronically. The generator itself stays free.

Do I need a Y-tunnus to use it?

To send a real invoice in Finland, yes — you need a registered business. The tool works without one, but an invoice from a business that does not exist will not get paid.

Where is my data stored?

In your own browser, on your device. Clearing your browsing data removes it. You can export your settings to a file and load them on another device.

Which VAT rate applies to me?

It depends on what you sell, not your industry. A food delivery courier charges 25,5 % — the restaurant sells the food, you sell a delivery service. Taxi and passenger transport is 13,5 %. Our guide covers the rest.

Can I use it on my phone?

It is built for phones first. You can share the finished PDF straight into WhatsApp or email without downloading it.

Ready to send one?

It takes about a minute, and you do not have to create anything to try it.
