Accessibility statement
Updated 10.09.2026
We want LaskuMaker to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification.
A note on scope. The Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services obliges public sector bodies and certain private organisations to publish an accessibility statement. As a small private business, we are not legally required to. We publish this voluntarily because accessibility matters regardless of whether it is compulsory.
Standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we have done
- Every form field has a visible, associated label
- The whole tool can be operated by keyboard alone
- Text contrast meets or exceeds the AA ratio
- The page works at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling
- Errors are described in words, not by colour alone
- Text can be resized in browser settings without breaking the layout
Known limitations
We would rather list these than claim perfection:
- The generated PDF is not a tagged accessible PDF. A screen reader can extract the text, but the reading order may not be ideal
- The bank barcode is a visual element with no text alternative in the PDF. The 54-digit number is printed beneath it, which serves the same purpose
- This site has not yet been audited by an external accessibility specialist
Tell us
If you hit a barrier, write to hello@laskumaker.fi and describe what happened and what you were using. We will fix what we can and say so honestly if we cannot.
If you are not satisfied with our response, the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland supervises accessibility in Finland and provides guidance at saavutettavuusvaatimukset.fi.
